دعسوقة سباعية البقع
Dome-shaped body; black head with two small, white spots; black thorax with two, larger, white spots; red wing cases (elytra), each with three black spots, and one in the middle. Larvae are worm-like with a black segmented body, orange spots, and six legs. They pupate to metamorphose into adults.
Active in warm seasons. Adults move to higher elevations to huddle in large groups and hibernate in winter.
Both adults and larvae feed on aphids (plant lice), making them beneficial to agriculture.
Common among wild vegetation, crops, and urban gardens.
