Males have gray upperparts, paler underparts, a black head, a white throat, red eyes, and red legs. Females have brown upperparts, paler underparts, and a gray head.
Stealthy and difficult to observe.
Sardinian warblers feed on insects and some fruit.
Common in open and bushy fields in the highlands, including Irbid, Amman, Karak, and Wadi Dana. Winters in the valleys of western Jordan and in the Azraq region. Nests in low shrubs.
