خنفسة خيل إبليس
Rove beetles are characterized by short wing cases (elytra) and exposed lower abdomens. They have slender, elongated bodies and flexible abdomens.
Mainly nocturnal. One of the first insects to appear on decaying animals.
Rove beetles feed on decaying animals and prey on small insects such as fleas.
Common in humid soil near water sources, including Amman. Found under stones or plant debris.
