Evergreen, thick, fast-growing shrub; dark-green leaves; pink or white, funnel-shaped flowers clustered at branch tips. Flowers develop into long pods that split open when mature to drop the seeds. Despite its beauty and popularity, all parts of the oleander are poisonous if ingested.
Warm regions with wet soil. Common in the river valleys of western Jordan.
