لافقاريات عديدة الأرجل
Invertebrates with over eight legs (pill bugs, crabs, millipedes, centipedes, etc.) generally leave trails of many small footprints. The width of the trail can determine the size of the invertebrate. The habitat type and other clues can determine to which exact species the track belongs. Pill bugs have 14 legs and leave diagonal leg prints with drag marks. Crabs have eight legs, two claws, and walk sideways; they leave one line of dotted prints. Centipedes and millipedes leave two lines of dotted footprints.
