Egyptian Desert Roach
Female has a brown, segmented, wingless, dome-shaped body; long hind legs; and shovel-shaped forelegs for digging. Male is darker, smaller, and has veined leathery wings with round tips. Well-adapted to desert conditions.
Damp, dark places in arid areas, including the Madaba region and Wadi Finan. Also found indoors in some urban areas.
