The Church of the Apostles is a Byzantine church built in 568 CE. The remaining spectacular mosaic floor, known as the Personification of the Sea, is by an artist named Salamanios. It depicts a female figure emerging from the sea, surrounded by mythical sea creatures, exotic animals, and vegetation.
