ألعاب السيجة أو المنقلة
The Nabateans carved and played board games on flat surfaces and benches all over Petra. It is not known how these games were played. At first glance, the carved game boards look like variations on the ancient game of Mancala. Mancala, however, requires bigger holes and side-stores to hold a large numbers of seeds.
Common in Petra. Examples are found behind the shops before entering Petra at the GPS coordinates: 30.324483°, 35.467217° and 30.324033°, 35.467300°; near the Jinn Blocks; to the left of the Siq’s entrance; to the side of the Urn Tomb; and in front of the Monastery.
