أبلق أسود الأذن
Whitish crown, back, and underparts; black eye and ear patch disconnected from the black wing patch (connected in the Finsch’s wheatear). Also occurs in a black-throated form, where the eye and ear patch extends to the throat. Females are browner.
Perches on short vegetation and rocks.
Black-eared wheatears feed mainly on insects.
Migrates through Jordan from spring through autumn. Breeds in Jordan in summer. Common in the dry, rocky valley slopes in the highlands. Nests in holes.
