Arabian Red Fox
Vulpes vulpes arabica
Pale reddish-brown coat; darker throat; long, bushy, white-tipped tail; yellow eyes with vertical pupils; pointed muzzle with a black pattern.
Mainly nocturnal; solitary; territorial. Fast and agile runner.
Rodents, reptiles, insects, fruit, birds, eggs, dead fish, and human refuse.
Common in all habitats, including the Jordan Valley, Irbid, Amman, Karak, and the Eastern Desert.
